Warrick, the Dominican Republic may turn out to have some very good exploration ground.

Just look at what GoldQuest have found there, with massive hits at their Romero project, their share price went from 5 cents to $1.70 in 2 months.

Today we learn that another Canadian gold company, Precipitate Gold, applied for all the territory around the GoldQuest discovery, immediately after the discovery was announced.

I wonder if PanTerra has also applied for some of this ground.

Chasing GoldQuest in the Dominican Republic

Precipitate Gold has applied for all the prospective land area around the GoldQuest discovery in the Dominican Republic. GoldQuest was unable to apply, because they already had 30,000 hectares of mineral concessions, which is the maximum allowed under Dominican Republic law.

Precipitate moved very quickly after the initial GoldQuest find, shifting their focus from the Yukon to the Dominican Republic.

What a great and fortuitous opportunity for Precipitate Gold. PanTerra was in friendly merger discussions with GoldQuest prior to their discovery, I wonder if PanTerra will now be talking with Precipitate Gold?

The Dominican Republic is becoming a very interesting area for gold exploration, and I am sure a lot of companies are now searching for tenements there. Imagine the number of applications for exploration permits that went in after GoldQuest announced their discovery.

Let us hope that some of this recent gold discovery "luck" in the Dominican Republic, rubs off on PanTerra.
