Call me crazy, but the only real soultion to the debt merry go round the west is facing, is for some serious pain to be had. I just feel that the world cant keep plugging leaks up. Eventually its going to bust. When, I dont know.
In the mean time, western governments will continue with this ad hoc approach to lessening the pain and pumping money into places were it is most needed. Unfortunately that money has to come from somewhere. We all know how that works.
What amazes me at the moment is our dollar, and by implication AUD gold. I feel that, given where every commentator thinks we are in the cycle, the dollar has to drop. Couple this with upward forces on gold or at least no real negative forces, AUD gold has plenty of upside.
How this affects the Aussie goldies, I hope upwardly.
