asf I don't want to run the risk of opening a huge can of worms on this Tier 1 mines business "mines have a life of approx 100 years" etc. lots of it is hear say "interpretation" and the rest of it. Its easy to start to dig up if you want to put the time into it. I suggest don't really bother.

I really don't think all this strict Tier 1 definition is worth pursuing - running along this track maybe more worth your time. A mine is either going to be profitable or not and that is based on many factors. Metal price, Size of the resource, Cost of production, Exploration costs, Capital costs etc etc. I reckon if after all the preceding you can make a profit after allowing a 10% return on capital then it's worth doing.
