Hey can i stick my nose in here? i will anyway and i think its unfair to critisize Wazabee like that.

Coins (IMO) can be a great investment but are riskier than bullion i.e. they may loose or gain their initial purchasing premium down the line. As I expect will happen with the 0.5oz lunar dragons that do not have a limited mintage, but for the short term they have prooved to be a far better investment than silver bullion, by that I mean siver bars.

A few weeks ago a reputable dealer was selling them for $34oz for a 10oz coin roll (20 coins) or $17 per 0.5oz coin, spot was approx $26 oz. At the same time, they were getting snapped up of ebay anywhere from about $21 upto $28 per coin but averaging about $23 to $24, or about $50 oz. A handsome return in anyones book. There is no denying it because its happening and the clever or brave/foolish ones are taking advantage of it.

With every dollar increase in silver, the dealer has been adding $20 dollars to the cost of the 10oz coin roll i.e. $2 per ounce for every dollar increase. The same coins today that would have cost you $340 dollars are now costing you $440 or an extra $10 per ounce, silver spot has gone up $5. The more expensive silver is getting the greater the premium which to me is strange.
What is justifying what i feel to be a radical premium? Supply and demand I suppose.

What will happen to the ebay premiums once the dealers sell out? Will they rise? You would think so.
But maybe not, maybe the current dealer premium is supporting the ebay premium, once the dealer is sold out there is no premium support. Supply, demand and silver spot will dictate. Anything could happen but i think the premium will always be higher than bulk bullion bars, but the risk of not achieving a lesser premium than what you paid is a distinct possibility and you could loose even if the spot price goes up. In short...greater risk/greater reward/loss.
