    karmalocust,

I do agree with your thoughts about drill core, especially just below oxidation zones being SP movers. My point earlier was that FNT's SP would not be where it is with the general markets being very scared. We are at the very pointy end of spec shares. We haven't found anything yet that will interest the market, but we are probably the best placed spec to reap benefits when we do.

One of the main reasons why I've invested a considerable bundle in FNT is that IMO they have some of the best unexplored territory in PNG. The majors know that as well and thats why they are heavily invested in FNT ground as well.

FNT by itself like earlier on Andewa and now on Sudest, have a has a culture of cost effective exploration. Ie lots of soils, rock chips, treches and IP surveys. They have drilled to the obvious geochemical indicators as with Komsen. I have no doubt that they will do the same and have a great degree of success at Sudest.

At Andewa the systems are very large and possibly deeper than what FNT drilled earlier. The exploration presently going on at Andewa is the Newcrest way, its expensive and it's almost idiot proof if there is such a thing in exploration. LOL. If Andewa has economical mineralisation near the drilling, they will find it. We need patience with this one.

OK Tedi on the other hand IMO are somewhere inbetween idiot proofing exploration and gambling on stumbling onto good results. Some of there drilling has been directed well at geochemical signitures on some areas and it's been very sub standard IMO in some areas. I hope they have a strategy like NWR in these areas. I'm very pleased about the Bulago drilling into the amazing channel assays above.

Back to Karmas question about visible gold in channel sampling. Unfortunately there's not very many companies that utilise channel sampling of trenches at initial exploration. FNT have done it 2 times at that I know of with Komsen and now with Sudest. Possibly a 3rd time at Bulago. ALD have done it at least once pushing roads but thats about it. Many companies testing old mine stopes use it, but thats not greenfield exploration IMO. I have been lucky enough once finding visble gold in fresh costeans in North Queensland but it's very rare. Unfortunately costean digging with the humble backhoe is very underated and IMO should be done much more often here in Australia.
For FNT, the local labour rate is so low, that its worth getting 20 strapping PNG guys on the shovel to dig trenches down to decomposed rock.

Back to KM's dilema about great trench results and average drill core. IMO that seems to be the problem at Andewa so far with drilling in the last year. Earlier FNT drilling at Komsen showed high grade in the drilling exactly where it should have below high grade trench results. We are awaiting 13 which will be the deepest drilling into the Komsen mineralisation.

Regarding the amazing Bulago trench results, we don't know yet and we await for those results with baited breath. I'm not expecting zip here.

We now have Sudest to drill on the back of visible gold in a trench, and considering no one has looked very much below the near surface. I think we are in with a good chance.
