You are free to believe what you want.

I was looking right into the Wyckoff and VSA but had a major rethink.

I turned it upside down and inside out, really pressure tested it by applying economic theorem to the movement of shareprice and the market.

It turns out that whilst some of the underlying theorem is OK the majority is almost cultist when you really analyse it.

And I am a Gold Coaster mate.

The guys putting this VSA stuff together would be right at home here amongst the marketeers and guys pushing horse racing software I reckon...

Like any good scam I think they base it on tried and proven theorem but add a twist to get you on the hook..then sell you some software.

Wyckoff? Well he may be another story (we will see) but the jury is definitely out on VSA here.

And please I mean no offense to anyone here on the HC site, as a matter of fact I am very grateful for the time and effort people have put into this VSA on the chart forum.

I think they all operate with good motives.

I am glad of one thing though, looking at the VSA forced me to go back and rethink certain elements of the market within that classical framework of knowledge which has made me stronger in my understanding of whats going on.

A real smart guy that taught me Business Finance stated without question that "the market is always right" and "there is no way you can use historical price data to determine future price"

And I tend to believe him. Its the holy grail isn't it?

And if you knew that you would go and make a heap of cash and retire. Not hang around to sell software.

Thanks to VSA for getting my head thinking in the right way, unfortunately that is not with the Tom and Gavin show.
