the windmill promoters were boasting on the radio this morning that wind power was even sent to victoria yesterday.
trouble is that the victorian two year study proved that erratic wind power can be produced randomly during high wind gusts,but the base load coal power stations can not be cooled down and warmed up as fast as wind blows in gusts.
in victoria,the coal fired plants have to keep the base potential of the grid supported,this means the same coal has to be burned per hour,regardless of wind gusts. the coal powered electricity just has to be dumped unsold when the wind power hits the grid,with greenies demanding it be sold,regardless if it is needed or not.
that is why people with functioning brains find the greenwash disgusting. the waste is disgusting.
you have to have base load coal buring all the time,then this power that has to be produced to safeguard society gets dumped unsold,whenever the random wind kicks in.
