Seeing as the lab that Thor is using is only small with one chartered chemist, there are many reasons processing could be taking a while, and many reasons for them staying tight lipped about results so far encountered.
I would imagine that the first deep Callie style hole didn't find any substantial visible gold on the drill samples, testing may have given an indication that gold is down there though and we need (at least) another hole to find the bulk of it.
It's still early September, of course there's reason to be tense but I wouldn't be panicking yet.
