I totally agree with what you say payllyons however I was only replying to Kav's argument stating simply that market cap not SP was what had to be used as the measure whereas in fact without SP you can't have market cap. Neither he nor I were looking at offshoot events like consolidations etc by which the SP will move as a result of same however again the market cap does not alter.

I wasn't linking my comments to casbahs post in which he was doing comparisons with other Companies, only to Kav.

Consolidation never entered my thoughts though as they were not relevant to the thread.

Kav was simply stating that without consolidations, etc. then the market cap was the intrinsic measure.

It could equally be argued that without a fall in SP but a large increase in issued shares [ie dilution]then the market cap would correspondingly suffer. We are currently faced with this prospect via the equity raise.

I did not mean to confuse anybody as the points you raise, while correct, are at a tangent to what I was replying to Kav about.

Regardless of the argument we are on the edge of a change in Newsat which will reward all of us who have been astute enough [and patient enough] to have got on board at an early stage.

IMO we will get ann. next week.
