What a load of rubbish. Anyone who listened to Bob Walker on the ABC this morning and the follow up from Tim Nicholls could draw only one conclusion - Bob Walker is a fool.
"It makes a lot of projections about future levels of debt" - Rubbish. The figures used were based on the previous government's (ALP) forward estimates.
"for example, that Queensland had to borrow to support the budget when the audited statements" - Rubbish. This may be the case over the previous 10 years BUT those times are now gone. Look at Fraser's last budget. I think it's 8 billion borrowed which only 4 was spent on infrastructure. So what happened to the rest?

Even if you don't like Costello, Doug McTaggart and Sandra Harding have more cred in their pinkies' than Bob and Betty Walker have in their whole body!
