Goof , its hard to get thru to these thickheads isnt it?.

Maybe the following quotation will simplify it for them.

"On lanthanide rare earth materials being brought into Malaysia, Abdul Aziz said that Lynas had to apply for an import licence to bring them in.
For each consignment of concentrates, they will have to go through a system of import permits.
So we will issue from time to time each consignment of lanthanide that comes into the country,” he said.

We are all aware the end use of the LAMP will be to treat a whole range of rare earth concentrates. It is expected that Lamp Phase 1 and 2 will continue to be developed to expand its capabilities into a variety of Rare earth concentrates.
This list is not yet confirmed or limited.

Did people really expect that TOL would automatically give Lynas the right to import a whole range of Rare earth in unknown quantities and concentrations without being specific on particulars?
Get a grip, this Permitting system is very appropriate and mirrors similar requirements in Australia and the rest of the world.
    Simple
