Gooru, QFX has only a few hundred movies to stream. Most are quite old. I have been a subscriber for a few months and hardly anything new has been added. Maybe about 10 movies a month.
Compare this to Amazon Prime. For a one off annual fee of $79 per year American consumers can stream thousands of movies and TV shows for free. QFX is charging $15pm for only a small fraction of what Amazon has available.
We know Amazon is looking at setting up warehouses in Aus. If they extend Amazon Prime to Aussies, QFX is dead in the water. I know which one I would be choosing.
QFX is a great platform with hardly any content. If Netflix or Amazon decide to enter the Aussie market its over for QFX.
Big content deals in the next 6 months is key. As QFX dont have the finances to pay for it they will need to form a partnership with major content providers. The longer we wait for real content the more worried I get about its future prospects.
