It could be, but not sure about Chevron.

My guesses would be likely SXY, DLS, or AJQ.

QGC/BG Group would be my guess for an international player.

Both SXY and AJQ have done farm-in deals with taking a stake in the target company. Eg. OGY, PGS, and LKO.

DLS has been rather quiet on deal-making front, but raised some money, which caused me to raise some eyebrows.

QGC would be the most likely international player keen for this, this would make sense as CNOOC already has a 5% stake on QGC's LNG plants in Gladstone.

Either way we will find out tomorrow, it could be any party.
