My understanding is that truly effective remineralisation would stop the sensitivity, and thus stop the need for Sensodyne. That was my impression from what my dentist told me about my sensitive tooth. He offered a chewing gum type of product, but I looked the ingredients up on the net and it had a possible carcinogen in it. So I'm using Sensodyne instead, even though some people report side-effects from it. If a Novamin/OBJ product remineralised my tooth so that it was no longer sensitive, then I would stop using Sensodyne and go back to an ordinary toothpaste.

Also, OBJ's announcement said that it was a OBJ-sponsored program, which suggests that OBJ might be trying to add value rather than GSK pushing the idea.

Absolutely. I don't think it's possible to sort it out, even if you just focused on researching GSK's oral health program.
