lets not forget who these ss&t mob actually are..
they are the reason we've been in limbo for the last 2 months, they the reason our very existence was once again in question and on the day we announce the acquisition of cockatoo they come out and say 'not fair!'..
from the showman himself on the 18th July 2012..
"The fact is we were shafted by a company that entered into a binding agreement with us, and to make matters worse they did it 90 minutes before the EGM after some 10 hours earlier confirming the deal after they asked for some unsavory concessions that we were in no position to deny. What they did was not only illegal but the most unethical behaviour I have seen in my 30 years in the industry.
Plain and simple... we were shafted and we have reserved our legal rights against them. Even up to the minute we found a new partener they were trying to convince us to do the deal they wanted. I would rather let the company fold than trust people like that."
i hope these sydney lawyers they engaged are charging like a wounded bull..
any chance plv management can comment on this development? i'm sure they were expecting something like this to occur down the line..
cheers
