This seems to be nothing more than diversionary tactics - an attempt to make the public look at something 35 years ago rather instead of the Gillard-Slater & Gordon-AWU questions of 17 years ago.

Doesn't this business of looking back 35 years make what happened 17 years (with documentation on Michael Smith's site) all the more relevant?

Gillard is the one passing legislation, not Abbott. Surely her past is of far more importance than Abbott?

I can only think that lefties are so afraid Abbott will repeal their stupid carbon tax, fix the borders, reign in the debt and the public service might shed some cushy, unnecessary jobs.
