I've never studied geology, but wish I had. I would have retired by now lol.
However, re MD's studies, I have read that Sangster in 1980 interpreted some maps where vms deposits had been found, and he said that, on average, vms deposits are about 4.4kms apart. That is probably an over-simplification.
Anyway, the Fosters Find area is about 4 or so kms away from the rich SFR deposits. This observation wouldn't have raised a yelp for a post any other time, but seeing you raised it....
