One matter that seems odd and I don't think has been mentioned is the timing of this cap raising. If CR consists of new share issues, then NEN would have waited for a higher price, such as a month or so ago or after good reserves announcements.

Of course, CR isn't just issuing shares to "sophisticated investors" (funds, etc), so maybe this is a buy-in of Paloma or some other activity.
