Hi UT In WA you could sign contracts with one party signing and putting nominee. Was handy when signing contracts and your partner not present etc. The rules changed in 2008. The new ruling stated that the nominee must be named. eg Sign contract John Smith and nominee(the nominee shall be Mrs Jane Smith).
