re: thread suspended (free speech) imo, the problem rests with ASIC
if directors & insiders actually had actual fear ASIC would prosecute them for misbehaviour then they would not be so bold & brazen
my point may sound contradictory but it is not. it simply refers to the natural brazenness of people when they are not subject to any rule of law
although they are not under threat of prosecution by ASIC, they will still stiffle any talk that may publically criticse or question their activity
it is like in the Wild West, if you insulted someone. they come out will all guns blazing
if ASIC actually prosecuted offenders, the directors would be sheepish instead of bold & brazen
for example, i once referred a fully documented case of blatent insider trading to ASIC, which included non-filing of change of substantial holder notices to the ASX
1. ASIC took no action; did not even send me a letter
2. Hot Copper was required to delete my posts; advising me they had received legal threats from the alleged offender
imo, the problem rests with ASIC
