an over supply would mean all individual needs in regards to accomodation are met.
currently there exist multiple 3 generation dwellings and an unprecedented number of adult age offspring financially and spiritually unable to depart the artificial womb of the parental dwelling. Add the 21st century phenomena of parental dependency upon their offspring for social and personal meaning which results in unprecedented numbers of adult offspring permanently remaining in family shared accomodation and the concept of over supply of houses becomes seriously challenged.
And dont forget those that are forced due to costs to tolerate obnoxious others in rental sharing arrangements where they would otherwise, if they could rapidily extract themselves from, set up independent accomodation.
there is more of a generational social and financial crisis occuring than a housing crisis.
first world existence, third world culture, new world order.
