Lets assume they receive 10 cents per click and that all unique visitors actually click through. That's $85,000 per month in revenues. Not bad, BUT...they have to pay some of that away to Google to appear in their side ads. So your 85,000 drops to about $60,000 (maybe less?).

Separately, they have plenty of staff in their Melbourne office who need to get paid so there isn't much left for them to play with.

Anyway, the company is burning heaps more cash than that on other things so the end of this week will be really interesting. The numbers of mine above will get either proven right, wrong or very very confused!!

Bottom line: Sell a water machine = survive.
Don't sell a water machine = broke in 6 weeks.
