As a follow on to Oslo, different geographical areas may require different types of energy sources. For instance arent the Japanese Islands on the edge of the ring of fire.
Other countries may not have the same issues and uranium may be the most appropiate resource to use.
Surely risk assessments would cover geography! The other issue is as other posters have stated, that Japan was not a customer of PDN.
While spot price of uranium and contract prices are relevant to PDN, I havent quite understood why PDN suffered such a reverse trend in share price after Fukoshima, you would think that it would have been a positive that they werent supplying. So the alternative is that the price has really just fallen with the global markets,and mark the trend accordingly.
