Whilst it is almost too early to have a go at the Great W Buffett however I think that some of his current risk bets are easily kicking the risk down the road whilst banking the premium today. I have a strange business philosophy - when management stop managing and seek powerful political positions or set up structures to have a say in society - I divest as I did with BH. By the way WB was richest man in 2008 and is no longer that and is number 3 now.

back to the stock - I think that SHV could do a lot worse than having an investor like Surandy on the board. I have long held that companies in transition in Australia do not do a good job of marketing themselves nor do they do a good job of thus raising capital. too many companies speak to potential shareholders or Soph's but not to those that already believe in them.

Bad mistake IMO. Those who saw something good are far more easily parted with money than those on the outside who have to be sold the concept.

I would love to see a detailed plan to trade to the point when our orchards are mature and see how much of a gap there is between that and our present resources. Right now I have no idea whether they can or not.

Any thoughts - I like the Chairman's style however.
