Actually, JM, I had no problem with your channel placement, I think it's viable that the price may follow your trend line.
It all depends on how you use TA. What I *try* to do (and often don't do very well) is to use it as a guide for my decisions; so the point for me is not to try and predict the future but to work out when to enter and exit. So not "I think the stock will do X" but " if the stock does X then I'll do Y".
So an agressive trader might use your support line as a buy entry, and then sell, say, if the price starts tracking close to the upper bollinger for a few days.
Oh how easy it is for me to talk the talk, however. Doing this stuff well in practice isn't so easy and I end up being more buy-and-hold than I should.
I suspect I'm not the only one.
