Hi Nightstalker - the spot price has been updated since and it may be falling still - many producers sell at the spot price and it is a highly sought after indicator to sentiment within the industry. I'm sure if the spot price rallies $10 and the LT price stays the same, you may agree.
Buc, URA is a fund that has moved only with the broader indices. Some of the U specs are looking fairly good value but only with a sustained rally in the U price, unless some miraculous exporation success has occurred IMO. Check what URA holds and you'll see why it has increased 8%. Will global markets rally from here - I personally hope so, but I'm not sure. Very low valuations are apparent and quite possibly, high volatility may soon occur as it's unstabilising demand/supply - that I concur with.
I can appreciate if you hold uranium stocks that any positives self affirm, but so far, especially since Japan's decision of late, I find it hard to see any in the near term. Of course, all the global net bulls blog away with why anything negative is seen as a furphy, but it's generally biased reporting and company (CEO) bullishness that sweetens the positives - they've been very wrong for a long time now. I'd personally wait for new-comers to agree with them.
Eventually it'll turn and I'm still watching. I'll certainly let you know when/if I begin to buy any.
