I don't think this is a pittance - I would have liked more - but the amount is so large I doubt if it could have been done better.

The chinese aren't dumb - they want gold and the profits from such mining.

If Aussies are so stupid as to not invest in their own country - so be it. All we have had is downrampers and a sliding sp for ages and so called sophisticated insto. sellers who have to exit to save their skins.

From there at this time of economies - full of fear and zip investment Don has raised almost a quarter of a Billion bucks from a friendly ----------- that is a bloody big task.

for my money - it is what we do with the funds that is important.

now many of us have been rabbiting on for ages that nothing like a good exploration story drives a sp wild -------------

Dino isn't going to miss.

All of our main geo's are what Kal calls serial reoffenders -- those very few percent of geo's who actually find mines - and between them they are so prolific it is almost embarrassing.

Yes we will pay a price if this goes ahead - but the return will be stunning ---------- to all of us - Shandong included.

Do any of us seriously think that they are thinking of a return in the millions? ---------- arrh, don't think so - they are looking for billions.

And they are more than happy for us to do the driving - they could have swept us up - but they didn't.

Madam just married into a very wealthy family.

I trust Don's judgement - I know where he wants to go - and from what I see so far, Madam just broke into a running stride - and she can run like mad.

Lets see what those resource and reserve graphs look like in a year ---------- the term parabolic comes to mind.

And by then - we WILL actually have a few assets that show up on majors radars - and we haven't got that atm.
