btw stumpy I thought your post earlier about 'smile on your face all day' was the best post of the day - well done.
So much emotion today I believe the only potential negative is the 51% issue / control. Trust in business is a tall order when you put yourself in a vulnerable situation. It can work if the people have integrity. I do not judge people on race either so Chinese nationality does not bother me.
I love Aussies but look at some of our less desirable citizens :-( for starters. Good and bad in every race. Only time will tell but I would love to see a 1B share group formed after this to stand fast on any potential take over - to block it we will need 10%+. Shandong should not mind if their intention is as they state. Just my thoughts tonight after a long day.
I think Pinto is right about the timing - could not be better at this point in history from an expansionary perspective. Price - not fussed if we can drive this strongly and derive a great return for everybody including our new partners - I want everybody to do well.
