The problem with QFX is not the technology or the platform, it's the complete lack of content. The Bloomberg articles says Amazon has 25,000 titles available to stream for $79 per year.

I have been a member of QFX for about 8 months now and they have hardly added any new content. It's really disappointing and I am thinking of cancelling. They only have a few hundred movies to stream (mostly very dated) which is pathetic. A lot of people have a larger DVD collection than QFX's current streaming library.

They will never build a significant customer base at this rate and its only a matter of time before someone else enters the Aussie market. I suspect there are a number of companies doing groundwork behind the scenes to establish a full featured streaming service which will be a direct competitor to QFX. I expect Amazon is one.

I suggest anybody thinking of investing in QFX signs up for their streaming service to see what they currently offer. Then make an informed opinion about the company's long term prospects and whether you want to invest
