Yes basically a private company , Engin purchase was probably sound with incremental margin should they be able to migrate any carrier fixed wire services to voip , you would also think there may be some cross selling of other products to the base.
Probably more to the point here is the ownership and the board , the wilks and O'Hare team have been linked to some total disaters such as TelPacific with rumours abounding back then ,so who knows what the end game is ? you would think just back dodo in go private would be a logical solution.
