The hill is HIGHLY weathered (oxidised).
D/drilling requires the use of drilling fluids to lubricate and cool the drillhead .
They lost most of the core , as the fluids were dissolving , what is now known to be , highly oxidised V and Pb mineralisation ie it was turning in to a red/brown mud and being lost .
They are reverting to RC drilling now , as that does not require the use of drilling fluids ...so the mineralisation should be retrievable .
Will start soon , as far as I am aware , and will be able to operate through the wet season ...barring lightning in the vicinity .
New tracked rig , and all weather tracks put in , to enable it to get to the drilling locations .
    All good.
    Hope that helps .
    regards
