of course there would be a delay from LYC for an official ann such as this. assuming LYC had a representative in court they would have to report back to LYC snr management (initially by phone but possibly by email aswell). managers would then have to have an urgent meeting. unlikely they could get agreement to for a trading halt in less than an hour or two. and for the HR to prepare a LYC corporate ann would take at least another hour or two again.
it's not like the LYC rep in court can just send an email to ASX with an ann directly themselves.
i have no idea whether the tweet from fuziah is true or not but i have no doubt that someone can send a tweet at least one or two hours before LYC could officially react ...
