Let me tell you that I have run businesses all of my life and I have got businesses out trouble in their lives as well, and I have never heard anything so ridiculous in all of my life.

Have you ever participated in a tendering process before?? I wonder!!!

A Budget is a budget and it is a forecasted amount of money/expenditure which has been put in place after serious costings evaluations by some number crunchers, and that is set aside for a particular job.
What it entails is not relevant as there are many parts to a budget for the likes of CDU, as it doesn't just entail the single job of laying a slab of concrete. And no one, especially when tender processes are in place, know as to how much a particular part of that budget consist of, and as to who else will tender for that particular job.

Tenders are tenders, and the one that will tender the lowest price with the best possible and promising result, will usually get the job.

And let me tell you, just in case you don't know it, that it is not an easy job to process all the tenders while going through with a fine tooth comb to see if there are any loopholes hidden away somewhere that will end up costing you more than you anticipated. Sometime the cheapest tender is not always the best. I can assure you of that Roh.

Thanks, but no thanks. I won't swallow what you have said. Mabye there may be someone here that will believe you in that and good luck to them, but not me.

I enjoyed reading it, but only UNTIL the part about having the usual dig and bait at the zzzeddd, the xxxwww and, and all the Perth naysayers that you never seem to omit from many of your posts.

Shame really. Because a post that was relatively good at the beginning, it turned suddenly sour and not worth following/reading anymore.
