shareholders should demand firb 51% cap, page-22

Hi All...

Thinking about this all day and it has 'done my head in'. I need to give it a break as the more I think about it the more I worry. Call me crazy, but I really have been trying to look for a positive on this. I find it hard to imagine a share price say, ever reaching $1. Newcrest Mining has a market cap of $21.5B and its share price of $27. For us to get to $1 it would mean our market cap with all shares on issue would have to be approximately $9B. Seems out of kilter to me.

Kw... Not sure about the article except that it did not refer to acquisition of 'mines'. I didn't get to Bloomberg but will try again to relocate it as I don't want to be misleading. Just trying to look at this from all angles.

My problem is that I am so attached to this stock even though I know one shouldn't be. It's hard to let go of the dream that I built around it.

Then again....I have a ticket in a syndicate of 50 games in each draw in all this week's Lotto draws, Oz Lotto, Powerball, Pools....so maybe..???
