Hal is correct that the silver grades are so high they will pay for a large proportion of a "average" $500/oz gold mining operation in PNG.
Mr Promnitz stated this at the Precious Metals Conference in Geneva in April.
If you look at the table below released by IndoChine a couple of months ago you can clearly see incredibly high grades and intercepts of gold, but also AMAZING grades and intercepts of silver!
Remember these are not little gold veins, they are blankets of gold and silver that run 10,20,30,100meters wide for the intercepts quoted!!! This is the beauty of low temperature Roescolite Quartz Gold deposits!
We also need to remember for following:
- that we currently have a 1.8Million Ounce Gold + 20 Million Ounce Silver JORC Resource, which in this tiny coloured area in Mt Kare!
David Meade and his drill team found a new gold deposit 1000metres south of the current resource.
Just look at the physical size of this mountain above!
It is HUGE!
And the best part are the two images below.......WHAT LIES BENEATH THE CURRENT RESOURCE....:)
Let alone this little award we won back in March 2012!
No need to brawl Hal, let the PFS to the fighting!
Cheers Nectar
