In regards to the hyper-deflation or hyper-inflation expectations - it is worth nothing that the FED: - first, stabilized the financial and monetary system, - second, reflated the stock market - third, is attempting to reflate the property market.
So, when referring to the fantasy trade - most (US) traders bought the dip(s) in stocks and sold the tops. The same traders bought (or buying) the US housing bottom with the intention of selling on the top.
Yes Virginia, there is such a thing as a 'dream fantasy trade'....just don't fight the FED and other central banks.
