India's lack of ability/frustration in securing bulk commodities in the last 12 months has been well documented in the press. The media has told us India is expected to have shortages in FE,Manganese,CC and thermal coal and their economy cannot keep up with demand.

I don't think NMDC is going to let 100% of Bevan slip away esp with our JV due to expire in days and LCY securing the 60% just recently. Timing suggests LCY should try and broker a deal now before the phase 3 results and the Chinese join HAW'S register. HAW have also told us LCY has approached them on doing a deal so I think we should expect news from either or both Co's this week on what the state of play is, after all both groups of s/holders deserve this.

I don't want to talk about footy until 2013, as its cricket season.
