I care, as would any decent human being of which most people actually are.
There are exceptions of course, a menagerie of right wing rednecks and of the far left who are incapable of separating their extreme politics from decency.
These rednecks and extremists demean a nation when they dont condemn malicious comments such as a Prime Ministers father dying of shame caused by his daughter.
Who cares you say. Well I do and I will not be silenced by rednecks.
Alan Jones at least has apologised for what he did.
For the record I dont accept his apology was sufficiently genuine. If it was genuine he should have dealt with the apology subject alone and not resorted to a political attack at the same time. IMO the political attack diminished the apology. A pretty grubby situation.
Some months ago when someone posted some really offensive stuff about Alan Jones I thought such post breached common decency and I reported the post to HC and it was removed. I do have a sense of decency and dont let politics diminish ones humanity. However, for that person to publicly use peoples family let alone a recently deceased member of that family to impart offence is imo grossly reprehensible..
When posted attacks are made on the family members of our elected representatives regardless of which side , if I see them I will continue to report them..
