The company announced a proposed share buyback earlier this year and simultaneously announced that they were on the market to merge with / acquire another gold project.
Two totally incompatible strategies. A farce!
They have failed to announce the end to the buyback despite ongoing references to 'deals' being done.
A cycnical observer might think it a way for management to 'appear' to be rewarding shareholders without actually doing it.
