Thanks for that link, though I have to admit I didn't find any part of it humorous; in fact it left me deeply concerned.
On the one hand 30,000 people mobilised in Melbourne against violence targeting women. This was an emphatic statement of "We won't accept that! Stop it now!". Meanwhile latest reports show Alan Jones wriggling in the nasty, insult gutter and directing comments drawing on the 'hate' word to smear other media commentators and organisations:
"Alan Jones has defended the sincerity of his apology to Prime Minister Julia Gillard over comments he made about her late father, claiming the "unbridled hatred" directed at him from parts of the media is motivated by jealousy. ..."
In reality there's a public campaign out there demanding the restoration of common civility, decency and respect and especially as its abuse leads to violence against others and in particular, to women!
People want Jones to stop the use of hate language and his vindictive and inciteful use of the air waves; as demonstrated by the desertion of his sponsors and the outrage being expressed in social media!
