In other words we are headed down the road of the end of globalisation, the evolution of regionalisation and the reemergence of a needs based marketplace - devolution! The future will be about energy security because having supply will be far more important than not. Remembering most of the oil lies in countries that hate you and me because we have prospered from their oil riches and done so paying bugger all for the one thing that economic growth is predicated on - the assumption of cheap energy!
