are you suggesting there are knowledgeable mushrooms as well as ignorant ones lol

I agree the management buying is a show of support for the deal,call it marketing, call it PR call it whatever. the good part though is the amounts are not insignificant, they coud have bought 50k shares and a similar point can be made. I think the reality of current market price and potential for a good rerate could also be a contributing factor to these purchases.

big disconnects like these between value and price dont last forever... also i do honestly believe than when BTA SP does catch up to its value, it is likely to happen in a quick fashion. I have bene investing fro nealry 20 years and many many times i have seen stocks trade at 30-50% of their value for months and sometimes years on end only for the shareprice to catch up to the value in 2-3 months.
i bought another 30k at 69.5 today - now have a very decent holding
