in 2011, the company used failed acquisition fund to start buy back. at the time, sp slipped to low 30s, trading at about 13-16 times earning, u would thought its great idea. however, now, the sp is trading at 23 times, u gonna ask would sp be this high without buy back. actually i think the management also think sp maybe a bit high, so they actually never bought above 45 except one day, and they stopped buying on mondayg, i doubt i bought anything yesterday. so not sure if another buy back is necessary. also our earning and profit are great, but we earned similar amount over last few years when sp was 30s, and now dividend yield is under 2%, safer to put money at the bank at 5%td.
