As pleasing at it is to see trenching grade tenors being intersected in drilling, ABU really should have mentioned 'not true width' somewhere in their announcement. There was not even a cross-section to illustrate how the reported intervals related to the ore zone. With the holes being -60 degrees and a steep dipping orebody, the true width is almost half, but I am sure everyone knows this. The other interesting thing with these results is that the high grade is in the top 40m, with low grades at deeper depths. Great for open pit mining economics, but possibly limits underground opportunity.
