Fmx, there are enough holes together with surface sampling results to conclude that there are much higher grades to the NW end compared to the SE, but I think there are too few holes to conclude that grade is going to drop off with depth. On the SE lower grade end, there is no evidence of falling grades with depth. Hole 9 is deeper and much higher grade than hole 20 and similar grade to the shallowest hole (12) on the same line. On the NW end hole 13 is deeper and lower grade than hole 2 but hole 2 is deeper than hole 24 and much higher grade than hole 24 (hole 2 has 6m at 80g/t). We still have a strong nugget effect so there will be a large variation in grades from hole to hole. Too few holes to jump to conclusions IMO. Hole 14 may have hit a relatively high grade part of the main vein while some of the other holes could easily have missed any decent grade and under call the average grade of the veins in their vicinity. However if the peripheral veins are more prevalent nearer surface then we may see the best zone for o/p mining near surface (ideal). This may explain the narrower intersections on the deeper holes but as long as the main vein holds its very high grade, u/g mining is going to be extremely profitable with grades like 546g/t over 3m widths and 6ms at 80g/t. I think we need to see many more holes before deciding grades on the main vein are dropping consistently with depth. At OP where ther are enough holes in the jorc resource, there is no evidence at all of grades dropping off at depth within the veins. In fact the best grades are reported at depths below 200ms.
