The trouble for those who do think it all happened randomly (I cannot think that, there had to be, even for the atheist surely, a beginning and then some kind of force to drive the evolutionary process, what was, is, it?), they have to be able to explain some pretty incredible stuff. I happn to know a little about biology. In bacterial cells there are flagella driven by tiny "motors". They are made by the organisms inserting a hole in the cell membrane and then the flagella grows out of the hole into the water around about. Then little ATP molecules come along and give up an electron and cause the base of the flagella to spin and so the flagella spins which moves the bacterium. Methyl groups in the cell are released to help the bacterium to swim in a more desirable direction, e.g. to food.

In every cell in our bodies are kinesins that are attached to fibres in the cells and they walk along the fibres to carry molecules to where they have to go in the cell. They can go forward or backwards.

Then there is the amazing way in which DNA information is transferred to carry out actiosn in the cells. Control mechanisms include the addition ans subtraction of methyl groups to allow expression of the genes.

Absolutely amazing stuff. Those of you who have a very rudimentary knowledge of DNA should read up.

Anyway, my point is that the athiests who reject a role for God in all this have to be able to offer an explanation. Theists have theirs.

    Regards
