I posted a young muslims story from Perth and was cried down by prejudiced individuals, the young women was an Indian muslim from South Africa. What of the Macedoinan muslims and others from the Baltics? I suspect all different again. And what about the "Arab" muslims,different again I suspect. What I do know,which granted isnt the whole story by far,is that tribalism is just as important as religion for these people.
As in all races creeds and colors,theres the majority keeping there heads down,doing their business,as night follows day, theres a small provocative recalcitrant subgroup trying it on.
Key here for me is that while the status quo may need to shift "slightly" to accomodate the new "mass",theres no need to go over the top about it. Like the great tapestry of life we live, it grows, not deminishes.
Just as other religions close ranks, like the mormons say,whats that all about? Exclusive bretheran Muslims. I beleive that all these and other religous schools should be mainstreamed. LOL, I supposed this is what the communists did, Stalin, Tito. As a grandparent now, I walk around with my wife and we look at how "others" interact with their children asian whatever, dont know their religions,they just look like "normal people". I think that the covered faces can be confronting,and as far as I know a status symbol only. I beleive there can only be one law of the land,this shouldnt be hard . I also beleive we all should get a fair go. Most of all, we need people to inspire,not provoke. This person will only reinforce the styerotypes already known to us.
