    I think you are being a bit Utopian and in what you have said, you are actually identifying that there are problems with all these changes that have been taking place.

    Although I do believe most people deep down are good, unless we (society - okay, our govt) take a stand on certain issues, there is actually a shift by stealth in the opposite direction to what you are wishing for.

    You mention a few things that you would wish for, like mainstreaming schools and the confronting thing about bhurkas.

    You believe there can only be one law of the land, "this should'nt be hard". "I also believe we all should get a fair go."

    You are actually wishing for things to go back to the way they used to be.

    Problem is we are moving further and further away from these things. The further we move away from these things, the harder, in fact, the almost impossibility it will be to move back to where we started.

    We are becoming conditioned to these changes, so a shift all the way back is seen as radical.

    Political Correctness is becoming ingrained in our psyche and we are unfortunately confusing it with morality.
