A brief by SMSL chairperson, mr Tan :
Kuantan High court postpones hearing on Lynas licence to Oct 10
Lynas served SMSL lawyers some affidavits yesterday(Oct03) afternoon, one of which is on their application for amendment on their application as an intervener. Our counsel asked for postponement so that they can answer the affidavits. Justice Mariana Yahya granted the request to 10thOct. The date originally set for JRs hearing on 8th is now vacated. A new date will be fixed by the court later.
The hearing on 10thOct 8.30am shall decide on 1. The above nentioned Lynas Application for amendment 2. Lynas Application to be an intervener 3. Permanent Stay on the Lynas' TOL.
There wil be ruling on 10thOct 8.30am at Kuantan High Court. So folks do come and support the hearing on the 10th. Hope we will be granted the permanent stay on the TOL.
