CW
There is no tone and If I am angry it certainly is not with you.
Was it not you who has said many times on here how easy it can be to misjudge the tone of the written word?
You can't have it both ways CW.
You CONSTANTLY answer questions when it suits you, and I have never at any time said you are paid to do what you do, so why the reference to it I am not sure.
I can not recall ever saying anything remotely impolite, either to you, or about you,and in fact have always tried to leave you in no doubt where my respect lies if I feel at times, a necessity to say anything to you, or about you which may be negatively and searchingly robust.
When I say to the forum that I feel you may be a little too close to the people and the action at Focus to give a totally balanced and unbiased view,I am referring to your situatiion and position, not "playing the man" to try and win some mythical argument.
And If I ask you to confirm what I thought I remember you saying, which I interpreted as Focus being happy to furnish you with enough information to compile a report for the shareholders, and your answer had confirmed that my interpretation was correct, then I am irritated beyond belief with FOCUS, not you, for entrusting a report about information not known to us (otherwise why bother) to you, rather than compile it and publish it themselves.
I want to read the version of the company, not the take of the version from a third party.
Conversely, if I got your post completely wrong, and that was not the reason for this report you are working on, then just say so CW.There is nothing to hide here is there?
I certainly am not suggesting that, and find it increasingly frustrating how you seem to so easily take offence lately, at what appear to be completely relevant and pertinent (if somewhat probing) questions.
As your last two responses directed at me have been less than complimentary CW I will assume you are working too hard and could benefit from a break.
Maybe it is a cultural chasm and we Brits have more of a tendency to cut to the chase, but with no intended malice, which somehow gets misinterpreted, I don't know.
One thing is for sure.
If possible cultural differences can cause angst between the Brits and the Aussies then business involving the Aussies and the Chinese could prove a tad tasty!
On the other hand, it could just be me!! :) :)
